Emmanuel Belfast is a gospel-centred, mission-minded, spirit-led church family.
We’re a relatively new church that started in the summer of 2020. Since then the church has continued to grow every week, welcoming people from all backgrounds.
The pandemic was in full swing when Kenny and Nicola and a small group of Christian friends obeyed God’s call to plant a new Belfast church. Lockdown certainly made the process of establishing a new church more complicated and difficult – in the beginning Emmanuel wasn’t able to meet face to face due to social distancing rules, so all services, bible studies and prayer meetings happened via Zoom.
But God still moves even in the midst of a pandemic, and Emmanuel Belfast has continued to grow and has already seen many people find their way back to God.
Emmanuel Belfast Church is part of a group of churches with a vision to start multiplying churches in 15 cities. Currently we have established churches in London, Brighton, Amsterdam and Berlin, and have new church plants in London Bridge, Bath, Ottawa and Krakow.
This network is part of the wider Newfrontiers family of churches which has over 1,000 churches around the world.
